   Thanumalayan Temple

The Thanumalayan Temple, also called Sthanumalayan Temple is an important Hindu temple located in Suchindram in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the 108 shiva temples revered by the Kerala Hindu culture, though this temple is now in Tamil Nadu, when Kanyakumari District got merged into Tamil Nadu from Travancore. The Thanumalayan Temple is of importance to both Shaivite and Vaishnavite sects of Hinduism, as the name Stanumalaya denotes Trimurtis; “Stanu” means Siva; “Mal” means Vishnu; and the “Ayan” means Brahma.The temple is maintained and administered by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department of the Government of Tamil nadu

    Ulakkai Aruvi

Ulakkai Aruvi is a waterfall on the Western Ghats these areas are comes under Asambu reserve Asambu reserve forest nearAzhagiapandiapuram village in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu state.Olakaruvi falls is about 39 km (24 mi) from Kanyakumari town and about 19 km (12 mi) from Nagercoil town, near Azhagiapandiapuram village. The falls is up in the middle of forested hills (the hills of the Western Ghats), which is accessible only on foot from the base of the hills. The hour’s trek from the base of the hills is through a rocky, forested area, which is thrilling in itself. On a clear day, one can view the waterfalls from the base of the hills with the naked eye, or even better through binoculars/zoom lens near Azhagiapandiapuram big pond . There are two falls – the lower falls, which is a good picnic spot, and the higher falls, which is further uphill. The water is basically spring water, coming in as a stream up from the hills nearby

 Nagaraja Temple

Nagaraja Temple is an early large temple found in the city of Nagercoil (Nagarkōyil) near the southern tip of Tamil Nadu, India. Its dating is uncertain but likely pre-12th-century. The main sanctum is dedicated to Nagaraja – the king of serpents. Padmanabham (1985), Heritage Of The Tamils Temple Arts, Editors: SV Subramanian and G Rajendran, International Institute of Tamil Studies, Since the 17th-century, new Hindu shrines have been added to the temple complex attracting devotees of Krishna (Vishnu), as well as Shiva and Shakti Hinduism. The original iconography of the Tirthankaras and Padmavati Devi have and continue to remain a part of the sacred pantheon close to the temple’s main sanctum.

   Sanguthurai beach

Sanguthurai is a small village in Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India, near Nagercoil. Sanguthurai beach is situated about 9 km from Nagercoil town. Sanguthurai beach is a sandy beach and it has a huge white pillar with black conch built during the King Chola period. From this beach you can see Thiruvalluvar statue and Vivekananda rock in a long view. Backwater view in Sanguthurai beach really looks beautiful.Sanguthurai Beach is very calm and a better place for people to enjoy loneliness. Sanguthurai beach welcomes you with a sangu statue, and a sea tower, which gives you a long shot view of the beach and the entire area surrounded by a coconut tree


 Marundhuvazh Malai

The Marundhuvazh Malai also known as the Marundhu Vazhum Malai/Maruthamalai Forms the part and the southernmost tip of the Western Ghats of Agasteeswaram taluk of Kanyakumari district. People living in southern Kerala call it Maruthuva Mala.According to tradition, the Maruthuva Malai is a fragment of the Sanjeevi Mountain, a piece of which fell down here, and it was carried by Hanuman from Mahendragiri to Lanka for healing the fatal wounds of Lakshmana, the brother of Rama, the epic hero. It stretches for more than a km, reaching a height of 800 feet at the highest point. From the highest point of the hill, one can see the ‘Section of the Indian subcontinent . The three seas (Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and Arabian sea) with different shades of blue and coconut trees with different shades of green are visible from this hill. It is about 1 km from Pothaiyadi, a place along 10km from kanyakumari entirely to Nagercoil.
